Wow! Such great news here today, Julie! A trip away, major writing progress and a book sale!!! All fun things! I think your week was better than mine. I was dragging a bit last week, so I didn't get much accomplished. I suppose I zeroed in on the end of the school year a tad too soon! (Ya think?) :) Anyways, back to the routine.
Thanks, Lacie. It was a fun week. Now if I can just get myself back into my normal Monday routine. :)
Love the title of your post today, Julia! I was wondering: Las Vegas, did she win $25,000 by putting .99 cents in a slot machine?!?! :) Wish that were true, right? But the news you shared was almost as good! Hope you had fun. :)
Wouldn't that be nice!!! I gambled $5 whole dollars, and I lost them all. LOL.
For business, huh? *grin*Congrats on the Kindle sale!! My week is okay. I cut my hair. lol
:) I was at the International Builders Show for the day job. Fun stuff! Isn't it amazing how a great haircut can make you feel better!
Fun!! I just realized I haven't read that book. Guess who's going to Amazon right after this...?? :)My week last week was a blast...I got to see my debut cover AND spend the weekend with my sisters. This week I'm back at work...but by the end of the week I will have finished edits on Made to Last. And that is an exciting feeling!
That sounds like an awesome week, Melissa. I love the cover!
Wow, what a great week (and month) for you!!
:) Thanks, Jennifer. And thanks for the mention on your blog today!
25k? Sheesh you're a machine! You're going to pass up my wc soon! I better get bookin'! :)
It's not Nano speed, but if I can get 1,000 words per day, I'm happy!
pun intended ;)
How cool that your business trip also provided research material for your manuscript. Congrats on the novel's progress!
Yay! So glad you got mucho words written! I've done some editing. Not much. :)
But once you get on a streak, I'm sure you'll have no problem finishing it in a hurry! :)
Oh wow! Vegas baby! Sounds like you had a blast! Was it cold there? My friend was there a couple of weeks ago and said it was freezing (this from a good Canadian girl!)Wow, you are on fire with your book. That's almost half a book already! Amazing!!! Can't wait to read some! :)
The trip was a lot of fun. The weather was nice. My husband was there the week before, and it was freezing. I guess I missed the worst of the weather.I'm trying to get this new story finished up so I can send it to you. :)
