Better than a Christmas Sweater

I love Compassion International's Christmas catalog. This holiday season I thought it would be fun to use this blog to do some good.

So for every new newsletter subscriber I get between now and December 25, I’ll donate $1 toward providing safe water for a family who needs it through Compassion International’s Water for Life Program.

All you have to do is click the Newsletter link above and sign up to receive my quarterly newsletter, and I’ll give $1 toward our cause.

What’s your favorite organization to support during the Christmas season?

  2. How awesome!

My husband and I started a tradition every Christmas of picking out a $50 gift from the World Vision catalog and donating it. It's something we hope to keep doing when we have kids. We want to instill in them the joy of giving. It's fun to skim the catalog and find something tangible to give those in need.

    1. The World Vision Catalog is neat because you can give a goat or chickens or a cow for Christmas! It's a great cause and makes it a lot of fun.

  9. Awesome idea, Julie!! We are monthly contributors to the village my church has partnered with in Haiti. We try to do a little something extra during Christmas.

I just set up my newsletter link last week, and have been brainstorming ways I want to use it. I love that you're doing something so good with promoting yours!!
